Death Cab For Cutie Plot 2026 Summer Tour, Reveal New Record Deal

The alt-rockers of Death Cab For Cutie have officially signed with ANTI- Records, and to commemorate, they’re heading out on a summer run.

The group will leave their deal with Atlantic and return to their independent roots. Frontman Benjamin Gibbard noted in a statement that the roster an ANTI- includes “some of our favorite artists, old friends, and in many mass, both.”

”We also can’t wait to begin this new chapter with the wonderful staff at ANTI- and share with you all what we’ve been working on,” Gibbard said.

The newly-announced tour will kick-off at The Armory in Minneapolis on July 10, followed by gigs in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toronto, Phoenix, and St. Louis. They’ll appear at venues along the way like the Momentary in Bentonville, the Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, Washington’s in Fort Collins, and a two-night stay at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles before wrapping-up at the Vina Robles Amphitheater in Paso Robles on August 7.

Throughout the run, Japanese Breakfast, Jay Som, and National Language will provide support, varying per date.

Tickets head on sale starting with an artist presale Wednesday, January 28 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by a general on sale Friday, January 30 here.
